Lane and Eagan named to Week 7 NEFC Honor Roll
Beverly, Mass. - Despite having their four game win-streak snapped on Saturday against Plymouth State University, Endicott football juniors \#Mike Lane\# (Medfield, Mass.) and \#Kevin Eagan\# (West Hartford, Conn.) were both named to the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Honor Roll for their week seven performances.

Running back Mike Lane rushed for 104 yards on 18 carries to lead the Gulls rushing game against the Panthers.  Lane averaged almost six yards per rush attempt (5.8) and broke out for a long run of 25 yards in the game.  Lane also had three receptions for 27 yards out of the backfield.  He accounted for 131 of Endicott's 246 total yards of offensive production.  It was the second time all season that Lane had broken the 100 rushing yard barrier in a single game.

On defense, defensive lineman Kevin Eagan led all Endicott tacklers with 13 total takedowns.  Nine of his 13 tackles were of the solo variety.  The Gulls defensive line was pressured all game as the Panthers rushed 59 times for 194 yards, an average of 3.3 yards per carry.  It was the second time this season that Eagan was named to the NEFC Honor Roll.

The Blue and Green look to return to the win column this Saturday on the road against UMass Dartmouth.  The game is at 12:00 pm.
