Kallas and Konopka awarded NEFC Honor Roll in Week 6
Beverly, Mass. - After a week six victory over Nichols College 30-10, Endicott sophomore linebacker \#Peter Kallas\# (Beverly, Mass.) and junior quarterback \#Phil Konopka\# (Shelton, Conn.) were named New England Football Conference (NEFC) Honor Roll members.

For the first time in his collegiate career, Kallas was named to the NEFC Honor Roll following a 14-tackle performance against the Bison.  Four of his tackles went for a loss of yards and five of the 14 were of the solo variety.  Kallas forced a fumble in the first half that resulted in a Nichols player being tackled in the end zone for a safety.  Kallas was also responsible for a broken up pass.  His 14 tackles were a season-high and nearly doubled his total for the entire season.

Konopka was awarded NEFC Honor Roll status for the fifth time this season as he added three more touchdown passes to his 2010 total.  The junior now has 13 touchdown passes on the season putting him second in the league.  Konopka finished the game completing 11-of-15 attempts for 155 yards and touchdown connections of 35, 28, and 13 yards.  He threw just one pick in the game.

The Gulls are now 5-1 (3-0 NEFC).  They will take on NEFC Boyd Division opponent Plymouth State on the road on Saturday, October 16 at 1:00 pm.
