Dillon Named Defensive Player of the Week

BEVERLY, MA - The New England Football Conference has named Endicott's Mike Dillon (Cheshire, CT/Cheshire) as the NEFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Gulls', 28-17, loss to Plymouth State University on Saturday.

Dillon, a 5'10" freshman defensive back, was Endicott's anchor over the weekend against PSU. Dillon made a game-high 19 tackles, including 14 solo stops and five assisted tackles in the losing effort. Dillon currently ranks second on the Gulls with 24 total tackles through five games.

Endicott (1-4 overall and 1-2 in the NEFC) looks to rebound on Saturday, October 13th as they square-off with defending NEFC Champion Curry College. Game-time is scheduled for 7:00 PM in Milton, Massachusetts.
