BEVERLY, MA - Endicott College announces newly appointed head cheerleading coach Shannon McInnis. McInnis cheered at Northeastern University and is the current coach of the Cheer Xplosion All-Stars and has been the choreographer for both Bishop Fenwick and Saugus High School as well as coached at many local camps.
Coach McInnis is holding tryouts for the 2006 Endicott College football cheerleading squad. The tryouts will be held Monday, August 28, 2006 from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM in the Post Center Field House. Proper attire required: black shorts; white top; sneakers; hair worn up.
The schedule of the tryout is as follows:
9:30 AM: Learn Tryout Cheer, Dance (two 8-counts), Practice Tumbling (standing/running), Jumps and Stunts (stunt groups must perform a Liberty and Heel Stretch with Twistout).
12:30 PM: Lunch Break (please bring own lunch).
1:30 PM: Judged Tryouts Begin (cheerleaders will tryout in groups of three).
**Team will be announced one hour after last tryout group**
