Endicott Athletic Teams Enter Playoffs

Beverly, MA- Once again, the EC athletic teams are proving they are strong contenders in the hunt for the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship. This Saturday, the CCC Tournament begins for men's and women's soccer as well as field hockey. Playoffs for the women's volleyball team begin Tuesday.

With an overall record of 12-6, 5-2 in the CCC, the field hockey team heads into playoffs as the fourth seed. The Gulls host fifth-seeded Regis College this Saturday at Tupper Field (1:00 p.m.). In their regular season match up, the Gulls defeated the Pride, 7-1.

The women's soccer team continued their winning ways in the CCC, finishing 11-1 in the conference and 13-4 overall. The Gulls earned home field advantage throughout the tournament as the top seed. The women host eighth seeded New England College this Saturday at the athletic stadium. Kick-off is 11:00 a.m.

The men's soccer team wrapped up their regular season this past Tuesday with a thrilling double overtime victory over UNE, giving them momentum heading into the playoffs. The Gulls (9-8-1 overall, 6-4-1 CCC) earned the No. 6 seed in the playoffs and travel to No. 3 Roger Williams University this Saturday (kickoff is 1:00 p.m.).

The women's volleyball team, having one of their best seasons ever, powered through the CCC at 9-0, earning the No. 1 seed and home court advantage in the tournament. The Gulls take their 23-5 overall record up against eighth seed Regis College on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the MacDonald Gymnasium, located in the Post Center.

***Due to the CCC Tournament, this Saturday's Endicott College football game has been pushed back to 2:30 p.m. The Gulls host NEFC rival Nichols College in their final regular season home contest.
