On August 10-12, the EC cheerleaders attended camp at Southern Connecticut State University. Over the course of these three days, the team learned new stunting techniques, new cheers and dances, and competed in a variety of competitive events from crab walking races and "longest lasting libs", to sideline cheer and chant competitions.
The team left camp with a 2004 Spirit Camp "Superior" trophy, as well as a third place finish in the game day cheer category.
