Conference Tournament Seedings Announced

Beverly, MA- The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) spring sports teams completed their regular season play this weekend, and this morning the tournament seedings were released. Endicott's teams finished at the top of the CCC. Both Endicott's softball and men's lacrosse teams finished first, while women's lacrosse and baseball were not far behind with respective third and fourth place seeds.

Men's lacrosse went undefeated (8-0) in CCC regular season play. As a first place seed the Gulls have home field advantage throughout the tournament. They received a bye in the first round and will play the winner of the Gordon versus New England College game Thursday, April 29th at 3:00pm. The winner of that game moves on to the championship game Saturday at 1:00pm.

Softball also finished first in the CCC with a record of 20-2, their only losses come from splitting their games with second seeded Curry and sixth seeded Anna Maria. It is a double elimination tournament and as Regular Season Champs the Gulls will host all of their tournament games. With a bye in the first round, the Gulls will play Wednesday at 5:00 (opponent to be determined). Playoffs continue on Thursday April 29th, with the championship game Saturday, May 1st.

Women's lacrosse finished third with a record of 5-3 in the CCC. The Gulls host \#6 seed UNE on Tuesday, April 27th at 3:00pm. The Gulls dominated UNE in regular season play, winning 20-5. The winner of Tuesday's game will travel to \#2 seed Gordon on Thursday for a semifinal match-up. Gordon just narrowly defeated the Gulls a week ago, 14-13. The championship game will be played Saturday May 1st at 1:00 at the highest remaining seed.

Baseball is seeded fourth with a CCC record of 14-6 and will host \#5 seed Roger Williams Tuesday at 3:30pm. The last time the Gulls played Roger Williams they won 7-1 and 4-1. The eight CCC tournament participants are split into two 4-team, double-elimination brackets. Both the winners and the losers will play again Wednesday at 3:00pm. The CCC tournament will continue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday April 30th- May 2nd.
