--SOFTBALL--

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

4/26/04 Nicole Reather (Fr, P, Riverton, UT) - For the third time this season, Reather earned Rookie of the Week Honors. In a 6-0 week for the Gulls, Reather was 3-0 with a 0.00 earned run average. She struck out seven batters over 17 innings, threw two one-hitters and a two-hitter. At the plate, she batted .545 (6-for-11).

4/19/04 Robyn Savitske (Fr,P, Hellertown, PA) - For the second time, Savitske earned Co-Rookie of the Week Honors. In a 3-2-1 week for the Gulls, Savitske posted a 2-1 record. She yielded three earned runs in 21 innings of work (1.00 ERA) and struck out 17 batters.

4/12/04 Nicole Reather (Fr,P, Riverton, UT) - For the second week in a row, Reather earned Rookie of the Week Honors. In a 3-0 week for the Gulls, Reather was 2-0 with one save, allowing one earned run over 16 innings of work (0.44 ERA). She allowed only eight hits and struck out eight batters.

4/05/04 Nicole Reather (Fr,P, Riverton, UT) - Co-Rookie of the week, Reather posted a 2-1 record with a 0.95 earned run average, yielding 12 hits and striking out 14 batters in 20 innings of work.

3/29/04 Robyn Savitske (Fr,P, Hellertown, PA) - Co-Rookie of the Week, Savitske in 22.1 innings of work, posted 2-1 record of a 0.31 eraned run average, yielding 12 hits and striking out 20 batters. She pitched back-to-back, two-hit shutouts.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

4/19/04 Elyse Colby (Jr,SS, Manchester, NH) - Co-Player of the Week, Colby batted .429 with four doubles, a pair of runs scored and four runs batted in a 3-2-1 week for the Gulls.

3/22/04 Megan Huckins (So,1B, Bangor, ME) - Co-Player of the Week, Huckins batted .438 (7-for-16) with one triple, three runs scored and eight runs batted in for EC.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

4/26/04 Robyn Savitske (Fr,P, Hellertown, PA) - Savitske posted a 3-0 record with a 0.00 earned run average. In 19 innings of work, she allowed eight hits and struck out 19 batters.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

3/29/04 Brendan Tiani (Fr,OF, Fairfield, CT) - In his first two starts, Tiani batted .444 (4-for-9) with a triple and four runs scored.

3/22/04 Mike Daggett (Fr,P, Sabattus, ME) - Co-Rookie of the Week, Daggett in his first collegiate start, hurled a complete-game victory, yielding seven hits, one walk, seven hits and one earned run.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

4/26/04 Jamie Turner (Jr,P, Woburn, MA) - Co-Pitcher of the Week, Turner improved his record to 5-0. The junior allowed one earned run in 13 innings of work for a 0.69 earned run average. He allowed just seven hits while striking out 13 batters.

4/05/04 Matt Bishop (So,P, Woburn, MA) - Co-Pitcher of the Week, Bishop allowed zero earned runs and struck out six batters in a complete-game victory over Curry.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

4/19/04 Pat Vincent (Jr,OF, Manchester, NH) - Co-Player of the Week, Vincent batted .571 (8-for-14) with two doubles, two home runs, two stolen bases, three runs scored, and six runs batted in.


--MEN'S LACROSSE--

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

4/12/04 Burt Fahy (Jr, Needham, MA) - Fahy scored eight times in a 1-1 week for the Gulls. In a CCC win over Wentworth, he had five goals and eight ground balls. Fahy netted three goals in a loss to 16th ranked Amherst.

3/29/04 Matt Bagshaw (Sr,Goalie, Framingham, MA) - Bagshaw helped the Gulls to a 3-0 week, including a pair of conference wins. He recorded 30 saves, while allowing just eight goals (.789 save percentage). In EC's victory over Roger Williams, Bagshaw allowed just two goals and turned away 18 shots. Bagshaw also earned ECAC New England Co-Goaltender of the Week honors.

4/26/04 Sam Chidester (Jr, Eliot, ME) - Chidester had eight goals and five assists in the Gulls' 3-0 CCC week.

4/19/04 Burt Fahy (Jr, Needham, MA) - Fahy had five goals, six assists and 10 ground balls in EC's 2-1 week.

4/5/04 Kevin Lally (So, Derry, NH) - Lally had nine assists in a 25-1 win over UNE.

3/22/04 Kevin Lally (So, Derry, NH) - Lally had three assists in a loss to nationally-ranked Tufts University.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

3/22/04 Patrick Gaffney (Fr, Worcester, MA) - Co-Rookie of the Week, Gaffney, a defender held last season's NESCAC Player of the Year to just one goal, while scooping up five ground balls.

HONORABLE MENTION - ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

4/26/04 Jeff Clattenburg (Fr, Concord, NH) - Clattenburg had six points and nine ground balls in the 3-0 week.

4/19/04 Patrick Gaffney (Fr, Worcester, MA) - Gaffney had 18 ground balls in three matches and was a member of the defense that only allowed one goal versus MIT.

4/12/04 Patrick Gaffney (Fr, Worcester, MA) - Gaffney had 17 ground balls in two matches and limited Amherst's top scorer to one goal.

4/05/04 Andrew McGarty (Fr, Newton, MA) - McGarty had three goals and one assist versus UNE.

3/29/04 Jeff Clattenburg (Fr, Concord, NH) - The freshman had three goals, two assists and nine ground balls in three matches.

3/29/04 Katie White (Sr,Ridgefield, CT) - White helped EC to its perfect 2-0 CCC week by scoring nine goals and adding two assists. She also had 12 ground balls and seven draw controls.

4/26/04 Lauren Gibbons (So, Shaker Heights, OH) - Gibbons had eight points, 13 ground balls and 16 draw controls.

4/12/04 Jess Blair (So, Middlebury, VT) - Blairhad six goals and eight ground balls in the past week of play for the Gulls.

4/5/04 Lauren Gibbons (Jr, Shaker Heights, OH) - Gibbons has six ground balls and seven draw controls in two stong defensive efforts.

3/22/04 Christine Wilmott (Jr, Barre, VT) - Wilmott scored eight goals versus MIT.

3/29/04 Hannah Watson (Fr, Shaftsbury, CT) - From her attack position, Watson scored her four goals and added an assit in the Gulls' shutout of Nichols.

4/26/04 Lindsey O'Connell (Fr, Mansfield, MA) - For the third time this season, O'Connell earned an Honorable Mention. She scored eight goals and added nine ground balls.
