NECVA - PLAYER OF THE WEEK

2/16/04 - Jeremy Fontaine averaged 6.8 kills, 1.40 aces and 1.80 digs per game last week as he helped the Gulls extend their win streak to seven matches. Against Lasell he recorded a school record 28 kills. Fontaine hit .857 against Mount Ida with six kills on seven attempts.

NEW ENGLAND DIVISION - PLAYER OF THE WEEK

1/26/04 - Jeremy Fontaine - There were no lollipops on Endicott's schedule this week, and despite losing two matches to nationally-ranked foes, Jeremy Fontaine excelled. In a 3-2 loss to \#10 Roger Williams, he carried the offensive load with a school record 31 kills in the match (31-8-50) to hit .460. It was the first 30+-kill performance in Endicott's history. In a 3-0 loss to \#1-ranked Springfield, he led the team with 5 kills and 5 blocks. For the week he averaged 4.5 kpg and hit .295.

NEW ENGLAND DIVISION - ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

1/26/04 - Eddie Marchand - Endicott made it a clean sweep of the New England Division awards in week one, as rookie opposite Marchand earned Division Rookie of the Week honors. He had 14 kills in a 3-2 loss to \#10-ranked Roger Williams, and four kills in the loss to No. 1 Springfield. He was second on the Gulls in points and offense in both matches.
