Endicott Football Set to Take on Framingham State

Sept. 19, 2003

Beverly, MA- The Endicott Gulls will host Framingham State this Saturday at the Multi-Purpose Stadium on the campus of Endicott College at 1pm.

The Gulls have had two weeks to prepare for Framingham and should be ready to play come Saturday. Endicott's first game in the history of the school came on September 6th in a tough loss to WPI 55-14.

Look for freshman running back Gerard Festa and defensive back Orlando Johnson to have great games again this weekend.

Although Framingham lost their first game 0-7 to MIT, they should not be overlooked. "They are a one dimensional offensive powerhouse. They have very skilled players at the key positions. It should be a good test for us," remarked Endicott Head Coach JB Wells. Framingham runs a one-dimensional offense but talented running backs and a big offensive line will give Endicott's defense a serious challenge this weekend.

Endicott must stop the running game of Framingham State to come out with a win. Both coaches are young and are still looking for their first win this season. Saturday should warrent hard hitting and tenacious defense.

Come out and support your Endicott College Gulls!
