Equestrian Places Fourth Overall At BC Show; Barrow Claims Reserve High Point Rider Honors

GRAFTON, Mass. – The Endicott equestrian team tied for fourth overall at the Boston College Show on Sunday evening at the Hillside Meadows Equestrian Center.

Along with placing fourth overall, Helen Barrow (Swanton, Vt.) earned reserve high point rider after competing against five other student-athletes for the title. Barrow was first overall in intermediate flat and second in intermediate fences.

Meanwhile, Macayla Loescher (Hubbardston, Mass.) pointed out of pre-novice (second place) to the novice division to conclude the list of standout performances for the Gulls.

OTHER SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Caitlin Laliberte (Westford, Mass.) ranked first in intermediate flat and fourth in intermediate fences.
  • Olivia Virgin (Burlington, Mass.) was first overall in introductory.
  • Emily Bocklet (Cross River, N.Y.) finished third in limit fences.
  • Abbigale Gerrish (Greenland, N.H.) placed fourth overall in open fences and open flat.
  • In limit flat, Kathleen Bolduc (Peabody, Mass.) and Hope Forcellina (South Windsor, Conn.) came in third and fifth, respectively.
  • Sydney Putnam (Ghent, N.Y.) ranked fifth in novice.

Endicott will compete at the Babson Show on Sunday, November 17.
