Equestrian Competes At Bentley/Wheaton & Bridgewater State Shows Over The Weekend

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott equestrian team shined in both the Bentley/Wheaton and Bridgewater State Shows over the weekend (November 2 & 3).

Katie Denker (Woburn, Mass.) highlighted the Gulls by qualifying for Regionals in introductory. Denker placed first overall in introductory in both shows over the weekend.

BENTLEY/WHEATON SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Olivia Virgin (Burlington, Mass.) ranked first in introductory.
  • Macayla Loescher (Hubbardston, Mass.) placed first overall in pre-novice.
  • Helen Barrow (Swanton, Vt.) was third in intermediate fences.
  • Kathleen Bolduc (Peabody, Mass.) and Hope Forcellina (South Windsor, Conn.) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in limit flat.
  • Caitlin Laliberte (Westford, Mass.) and Barrow were ranked fourth and sixth overall in intermediate flat.
  • Hayley McGahan (Woburn, Mass.) and Sydney Putnam (Ghent, N.Y.) came in fourth and fifth in novice.
  • Abbigaile Gerrish (Greenland, N.H.) and Kaili Gore (Fleetwood, Pa.) both finished sixth overall in open fences and limit fences, respectively.

BRIDGEWATER STATE SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Virgin posted a first place finish in introductory.
  • Putnam came in second place in novice, while McGahan was sixth.
  • Barrow notched a second place finish in intermediate fences.
  • Laliberte and Barrow registered third and fifth place finishes in intermediate flat.
  • Gore was fifth in limit fences, while Forcellina came in sixth in limit flat.
  • Gerrish turned in a sixth place performance in open flat.

Endicott will compete at the Boston College Show on Sunday, November 10.
