Equestrian Earns Reserve High Point Team Honors At Boston College Show

GRAFTON, Mass. — The Endicott equestrian team earned reserve high point team honors (second place overall out of 10 teams) at the Boston College Show on Sunday evening.

Endicott was led by first place performances from Abbigale Gerrish (Greenland, N.H.) and Isabella Jarosiewicz (Boxford, Mass.) in open fences and intermediate flat, respectively. 

The Gulls also saw McKenzie Paiva (Mansfield, Mass.) qualify for regionals in intermediate fences to highlight the day.

"They did it again! We had another great show and season closer for the fall," said Endicott equestrian head coach Bethany Jones. "The riders came together and gave it their all and it showed in our team points. I couldn't be prouder of this young team and the work they all put in every day to achieve their goals. It's truly a great day to be a Gull!"

OTHER SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Caitlin Laliberte (Westford, Mass.) was second in novice flat. 
  • Brianna Gallagher (Plymouth, Mass.) ranked second in walk trot.
  • Stefanie Tobin (Rochester, N.H.) placed third in beginner walk-trot-canter.
  • Kathleen Bolduc (Peabody, Mass.) came in third place in novice fences, while Annabella Silva (North Truro, Mass.) and Laliberte both notched fourth place finishes in the event as well.
  • Paiva ranked fourth in open flat and sixth in intermediate fences.
  • Gerrish was fifth in open flat.
  • Jarosiewicz notched a fourth place finish in intermediate fences.
