Equestrian Places Third At Home Show

An equestrian rider jumps a hurdle.

GEORGETOWN, Mass. – The Endicott equestrian team placed third overall at its own home show last weekend behind regional qualifying performances from McKenzie Paiva (Mansfield, Mass.) and Annabella Silva (North Truro, Mass.).

Paiva finished second overall in intermediate fences and qualified for regionals in intermediate flat with a third place performance, while Silva punched her ticket to regionals with a second place showing in walk trot canter. Amber Vuilleumier (Clinton, Conn.) also ranked sixth in walk trot canter.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS

  • Alongside those performances, Abbigale Gerrish (Greenland, N.H.) was third in open fences and fourth in open flat.
  • Emily Teel (Somers, Conn.) ranked second in novice fences and third in novice flat.
  • Tracy Crosby (Norfolk, Mass.) was fourth in novice fences and fifth in novice flat.
  • Meredith Bemus (Wilton, Conn.) came in fourth in novice flat.
  • Brianna Gallagher (Plymouth, Mass.) rounded out the list of highlights with a fifth place performance in walk trot.
