WESTFIELD, Mass. — On Sunday, February 17, the Endicott dance team claimed its ninth straight Universal Dance Association (UDA) New England Regional title on the campus of Westfield State University against Division II and III colleges and universities from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and New York.

The Gulls received first place honors in Open Jazz and Open Pom, as well as the Best Choreography Award for their jazz routine. Endicott's first place performances in Open Jazz and Open Pom also marked the fourth year in a row that the Gulls swept both disciplines.

"After finishing up our competition season yesterday and having some time to reflect on our year, all I can say is that this team is the total package!" said Endicott dance head coach Nicole Sao Pedro-Welch. "They worked hard all season, respected their coaches, were consistently hungry to be their best, and always supported/encouraged one another. I'm so proud and humbled to be their coach. GO GULLS!!"
