ORLANDO, Fla. — Last weekend, the Endicott dance team competed at the UCA/UDA College Cheerleading & Dance Team National Championship in Orlando, Florida at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The Gulls finished seventh in the nation in open pom and 13th in the nation in open jazz.

Endicott also earned a bronze medal (third place) in the World Team Pom category.

"I'm very proud of the team and their performances at Nationals," said Endicott dance head coach Nicole Sao Pedro-Welch. "They pushed through, fought hard, and danced their best and that's all a coach can ask for.

This weekend's performances mark the third year in a row Endicott has placed in open jazz finals, and the second time in the last three years the Gulls advanced to finals in both open pom and open jazz.
