Universal Dance Association (UDA) Hires Three Members Of Endicott Dance Team

BEVERLY, Mass. –  Endicott rising senior captains Danielle Chabot (Worcester, Mass.) and Julia Wholey (Billerica, Mass.) were recently hired by the Universal Dance Association (UDA) as veteran staff members. Danielle and Julia will be joined this summer by rising sophomore Francesca DeCaro (North Andover, Mass.) who was hired as a rookie staff member. These three members of the program have spent the past week training in Chicago, Illinois in preparation to instruct dance camps across the country this summer.

"Working for the Universal Dance Association will open so many professional doors for these dancers, and they deserve it," said Endicott dance head coach Nicole Sao Pedro-Welch. "The continued experience they will get from the UDA will truly help the success of our dance team."

YEAR IN REVIEW

For the seventh consecutive season, the Endicott dance team was named Regional Champion after claiming first place finishes in both the jazz and pom divisions, as well as earning the Best Choreography Award for their jazz routine.

At the UCA/UDA College National Champions held in January in Orlando, Florida, the women competed against the top teams in the country in the open pom division and placed seventh in the nation. It's the third time in program history the dance team has advanced to finals in open pom.
