BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's ice hockey team traveled to Boston University over the weekend for their last game of the season. After back to back goals by sophomore Cameron Randles (Canyon Country, Calif.) and freshman Benjamin MacEwen (Waltham, Mass.) in the first period the Gulls lifted to a 2-1 victory to finish 2015 strong. Endicott ended the season at 8-8-3 overall and look forward to competing at the NCAA level for the 2016 season as a member of the ECAC Northeast conference under the leadership of head coach R.J. Tolan.

With the victory the Blue and Green avenged their earlier season loss to the league opponent where the Terriers took a 6-1 victory back on November 15th.

Endicott started off the first period in the early minutes on a power-play opportunity as senior Alex Dodds (Grantham, N.H.) found Randles with an open opportunity and fed him the puck for the opening goal. In the final minutes of the period freshman duo MacEwen and Kyle Webb (Reading, Mass.) made a play to goal that finished with MacEwen beating Terrier goaltender Joe Kelly (Duxbury, Mass.) for the two goal advantage.

Boston University would answer back with one goal in the second period from John Faso (Clarence Center, N.Y.) but it would not be enough as the Endicott defense, anchored by goaltender Nick Russo (Waltham, Mass.) would hold the 2-1 lead and eventual victory.
