BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's ice hockey team traveled to league opponent Boston College last Friday evening. Despite the long goal by senior Kevin Brennan (Scituate, Mass.) the Gulls fell to the Eagles for the second time this season 3-1. Endicott sits at 6-5-3 (2-4 NECHA) while the Eagles improve to 7-8-0 overall.

The Gulls will take the ice next on Saturday, December 13th  when they host their final home game of December with Central Connecticut State at 7:30 p.m. The following day on Sunday, December 14th Endicott will then play their final game of December as they travel to New Hampshire at 4:00 p.m.

Endicott got on the board first in the opening period as Brennan controlled a feed from senior Ryan Hansen (West Haven, Conn.) and blasted the puck into the back of the net past goaltender Matthew Lipsky (Irvington, N.J.).

After taking the 1-0 lead entering the first intermission the Eagles picked up their game and scored the game tying goal at the 18 minute mark in the second period. Junior Keith Nicholson (Suffern, N.Y.) made a combo play to goal with junior Tim Doyle (Franklin, Mass.) and beat goaltender Nick Russo (Waltham, Mass.) for a 1-1 score.

The game entered the third period at a stalemate but Boston College was able to notch two goals to secure the victory. The first came from junior Jonathan Farrow (Burlington, Mass.) on a power-play opportunity for the game winner while Farrow again capitalized in the final minutes with an insurance goal for the 3-1 victory.
