BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott Athletics and Recreation Department has announced the hiring of Jennifer Riley as the new cheerleading head coach for the 2018-19 academic year.

Riley comes to Endicott with over 10 years of cheerleading coaching experience. Riley will look to expand the program's efforts in regional and national competition as well as regular involvement with the College's varsity athletic teams.

Riley has spent the last 10 years as a cheerleading instructor with the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA). While with NCA, the Derry, N.H. native has taught cheerleaders, ages youth through the college level, skills such as dance, cheer, and stunting. Riley also served as the assistant varsity cheerleading coach at Windham High School in Windham, N.H., where she worked on basic progressions to elite skills while staying competitive within the division.

A graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Riley went on to graduate from Elmira College in Elmira N.Y. in 2009. At Elmira, Riley was a member of the nationally renowned Soaring Eagles cheer program. During her time there, Riley was a part of a national championship program. She graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.

"We are very excited to bring on a coach of Jennifer's caliber," stated Amy Wilichoski, Endicott's Assistant Director of Recreation and Club Sports. "Having won a national championship while at Elmira, she will bring that mentality to the Endicott program and look to build upon a strong foundation that saw the women finish seventh at last year's NCA Cheer Championships."
