
BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott baseball team defeated Suffolk, 4-3 (10 inn.), in walk-off fashion in conference action on Tuesday evening at North Field.
WP (1-1): Max Tarlin (Sharon, Mass.) — 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K
LP (0-1): Jonny Gibride (Beverly, Mass.) — 9.1 IP, 11 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 4 BB, 3 K
Tied 3-3 in the bottom of the 10th inning, the Gulls scratched home the game-winning run on a throwing error at home with the bases loaded to stay undefeated at The Nest (9-0) this season.
Endicott trailed 3-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning but rallied behind a bases loaded walk from Joey Frammartino (North Reading, Mass.) and a two-run single to center by TJ Liponis (Scarborough, Maine) to eventually force extra innings.
Nicholas Cannata (Marlborough, Conn.) pitched a gem in relief going 5 1/3 innings while only punching out seven batters.
