No. 16/22 Baseball Walks Off Against Gordon, 4-3

BEVERLY, Mass. – Nicolas Notarangelo (Taunton, Mass.) laced a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth to lift the No. 16/22 nationally ranked Gulls over Gordon, 4-3, in conference action on Tuesday evening at North Field.

WP (4-1): Max Tarlin (Sharon, Mass.) – 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K
LP (2-6): Jacob Hitchcock (Goodyear, Ariz.) – 2/3 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 0 K

In the bottom of the ninth, Joseph Millar (Lake Hopatcong, N.J.) jumpstarted Endicott's offense, per usual, this time with a one-out double down the right field line.

J.P. Catellier (Springfield, Mass.) was summoned to run for Millar at second before Caleb Shpur (East Canaan, Conn.) was intentionally walked, making way for Notarangelo's heroics.

Notarangelo ripped a one-hopper under the dive of Gordon's first baseman into right field scoring the speedy Catellier with ease from second.

Notarangelo also homered in the fifth to tie the game at 3-3, while Millar (bases loaded walk) and Shpur (sac fly to center) accounted for the Gulls' pair of runs scored in the second.
