Baseball Walks Off Against No. 23 Tufts, 4-3

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott sophomore catcher John Mulready (Peabody, Mass.) hit a walk-off sacrifice fly to lift the Gulls past No. 23 nationally ranked Tufts, 4-3, in non-conference action on Monday evening at North Field.

WP (3-1): Max Tarlin (Sharon, Mass.) – 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K
LP (0-1): Jack Chapleski (Dubai, UAE) – 3 2/3 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K

Jake Nardone (Wakefield, Mass.) jumpstarted Endicott's walk-off win with a leadoff single up the middle in the ninth.

From there, the Gulls took advantage of a fielding error and a Dylan Pacheco (Dartmouth, Mass.) infield single deep in the 5.5 hole to set the stage for Mulready's sac fly to center.

Mulready finished the contest going 2-for-3 with one run scored and two RBI.

Joseph Millar (Lake Hopatcong, N.J.) also tied the score at 2-2 in the third with an RBI single to center, while Kyle Grabowski (Westfield, Mass.) knocked a sac fly to center in the sixth to give Endicott a 3-2 lead, at the time.
