BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott senior pitcher Zachary Sultar (South Windsor, Conn.) was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Week for his efforts on the mound on Monday afternoon.
Sultar was extremely stingy in a no-decision against CCC rival Curry. In seven scoreless innings of work, Sultar surrendered just two hits and struck out a career-high eight, while not walking a batter. Despite leaving the game with a 2-0 lead, Sultar did not factor in the decision as Curry scored three runs after his departure to seal a 3-2 victory.
