Christian Allaire Claims CCC Baseball Rookie Of The Week Accolades

CCC WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman second baseman Christian Allaire (Sandown, N.H.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Baseball Rookie of the Week. It was announced by the league office earlier today.

In a 1-2 week for the Gulls against No. 4/4 nationally ranked Trinity (Tex.), Allaire posted a .364/.533/.455 slash line to go along with three runs scored, four hits (one double), three RBI, four walks, three stolen bases, and a perfect fielding percentage (6 PO, 7 A, 13 TC).

His best game of the week came on Saturday as the freshman second baseman went 3-for-6 with two runs scored, one double, three RBI - all career firsts - and one stolen base. 

Meanwhile, as a leadoff hitter, Allaire reached base in four out of his six chances (.667) for the Gulls on the week. He also successfully advanced runners in four out of his five opportunities (.800).

NOTES

  • This is Allaire's first career CCC weekly honor.
