BEVERLY, Mass. – Every year it seems as if the Endicott baseball program's coaching tree grows another branch. Whether former student-athletes from the program join the Gulls' staff or find employment in the coaching profession elsewhere, Endicott's brand of baseball is being spread throughout the region and the country by a multitude of alums.
There's a simple reason as to why Endicott's baseball program has produced many future coaches over the years.
"They are all passionate about the game of baseball, they all love competition and they all understand that they have an incredible opportunity to positively impact young men's lives through their teaching, mentoring and coaching," said Endicott baseball head coach Bryan Haley. "As a coach, more often than not, we are genuinely excited to go to work every day, and every day, our work is extremely fulfilling. Coach DeFelice puts it best when he describes his 50-plus years in coaching, 'I've never had to work a day in my life.'"
Below is a list of Endicott baseball student-athletes who have joined the coaching ranks upon graduation. Of note is Harry Oringer '15 (Dartmouth, Mass.) who is the latest hire from the coaching tree. Oringer has returned to The Nest to assist Coach Haley and Coach DeFelice as a member of the Gulls' staff.
