BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott graduate student outfielder Steve Morganelli (Milford, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Baseball Player of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.
In a 3-2 week for the Gulls, Morganelli had hits in four of Endicott's five contests last week, including two multi-hit games against Gordon to earn a spot in the CCC Championship Series. Overall, he posted a .471/.583/.824 slash line to go along with six runs, three triples, seven RIB, five walks, and four stolen bases.
WHAT'S NEXT
Second-seeded Endicott (25-17) will play the winner of No. 1 Salve Regina and No. 5 Nichols in the CCC Championship Series (best-of-three) on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13 at the highest remaining seed.
