Michael Casciano Earns CCC Player Of The Week Accolades

CCC WEEKLY RELEASE 

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior outfielder Michael Casciano (Somers, Conn.) has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week accolades for the first time in his career, as announced by the league office earlier today. 

Last week (Mar. 20-26), Casciano hit .455/.500/.818 for Endicott as the Gulls went 1-2 overall. He collected hits in each of the Gulls' three games including two multi-hit performances. In game one of a CCC doubleheader against Eastern Nazarene, Casciano hit his first collegiate home run to help his team to a 4-0 win. The junior also had a double against Bates in non-conference action. Additionally, Casiano scored two runs and drove in two others last week, while handling all five chances he had in the outfield. 

So far this season, Casciano is hitting .394/.389/.606 with six runs scored, 13 hits, two doubles, one triple, a homer, seven RBI, one walk, and one stolen base. He also has been perfect in the field on 23 total chances. 

Endicott (6-5) hosts Southern Maine on Wednesday, March 29 at 3:30 PM. Bates (4-4) travels to Husson on Tuesday, March 28 at 4 PM.
