2017 BASEBALL VIDEO SEASON PREVIEW

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott baseball team begins its 2017 season today at home against Salem State University at 3:30 PM. Here's a preview of the upcoming season.

RETURNING CAST (ROSTER): Endicott's lineup will feature several 2016 CCC All-Conference selections in Nick Berno (St. Albans, Vt.), Michael DeDonato (Chelmsford, Mass.), Anthony Serina (Portsmouth, R.I.), and Chris Seidl (Dracut, Mass.), while the pitching staff will showcase arms such as Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.), Colby Morris (Newburyport, Mass.), and Kevin Gould (Rollinsford, N.H.) among others.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR (SCHEDULE): After today's home contest versus Salem State, the Gulls will head to Florida for their annual Spring Break tri from March 12-17. Live stats and Facebook LIVE (dependent on field internet access) will be available for games. Please check the schedule for the most accurate links. Upon returning from Florida, Endicott will host 15 home games throughout March, April, and May with the first of 15 coming against Wheaton (Mass.) on Tuesday, March 21 at 4 PM.

PRESEASON PLAUDITS (CCC POLL): Endicott and Salve Regina University have split the coaches' vote to be the Commonwealth Coast Conference's (CCC) preseason favorite for the 2017 baseball season, as announced by the league office on February 14. Salve Regina compiled 74 points behind five first place votes, while Endicott also accumulated 74 points despite receiving just two first place votes. Western New England University was picked third (62 points, two first place votes), Nichols followed in fourth (57), and Curry rounded out the top-5 with 43 votes.
