FAIRBANKS, Alaska – Junior ace JJ Branch (Milford, Mass.) and junior reliever Nick Quattro (Canton, Conn.) both earned a spot on the D3Baseball.com All-New England Second Team after leading the Gulls to a 26-17 record in 2015. Branch is now a two-time D3Baseball all-region player after collecting First Team honors in 2014 while Quattro, the 2015 CCC Pitcher of the Year, earns his first All-New England nod.

Branch went 7-3 with a career-low 1.44 ERA this past spring as he held opposing hitters to a .221 batting average. Branch, an All-CCC First Teamer for the second straight season, struck out 53 batters over his 75.0 IP. Coming into the 2015 season, Branch was lauded by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper as a "Player to Watch" after he erupted with an 8-2 record, 2.88 ERA, and CCC Pitcher of the Year accolades in his sophomore season.

In 2015, Branch recorded wins over regionally-ranked teams including Worcester State, Salve Regina, Salem State, and MIT.

Quattro finishing behind D3Baseball.com New England Pitcher of the Year Andrew Richards from Southern Maine in the all-region rankings after putting up career numbers as a junior. In 24 appearances, Quattro finished with an 8-1 record, a 1.42 ERA, and a team-best 55 strikeouts in 50 2/3 IP. Quattro held opposing hitters to just a .131 batting average with just 22 hits allowed while walking 12.

Quattro was leaned upon heavily throughout the year to supply an escape out of late-inning jams as well as long relief innings. He earned a spot on the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week after throwing 9 1/3 scoreless innings and getting two relief wins in a doubleheader sweep of CCC opponent Eastern Nazarene.
