BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior second baseman Harry Oringer (Dartmouth, Mass.) has been named to the D3Baseball.com Preseason All-America First Team in anticipation of the 2015 season. Oringer was placed on the 2014 D3Baseball.com All-America Second Team following Endicott's postseason run to the NCAA New England Regional Final in back-to-back seasons.

Oringer set career-highs in numerous statistical categories last spring and was a major piece in Endicott's CCC Championship winning squad that accumulated a 34-16 (13-3 CCC) record in 2014. Oringer, a senior exercise science major, batted .383 with a .489 on-base percentage and a .536 slugging percentage in 183 at bats. He totaled 70 hits including 21 extra-base knocks on 16 doubles, three triples, and two homeruns. Oringer crossed home plate 47 times and drove in 36 runs himself, typically batting out of the two-hole for the majority of the season.

In the NCAA Regional Tournament, Oringer knocked in a team-high seven RBIs including three which came on a homerun against Southern Maine in the second of three meetings with the Huskies to give Endicott a 7-6 win and force a Sunday playoff.

Along with his D3Baseball.com All-America Second Team nod at the end of the season, Oringer was also named all-region by the ECAC and NEIBA with Second Team awards. Oringer was placed on the All-CCC First Team, was a two-time CCC Player of the Week, and earned a spot on the CCC Academic All-Conference list.

Only Tufts senior pitcher Kyle Slinger (Danville, Calif.) and Oringer represented New England on the 2015 D3Baseball.com Preseason All-America First Team. Amherst junior utility man Mike Odenwaelder (Goshen, Conn.) appeared on the Second Team while Salem State junior second baseman Richard Fecteau (Newbury, Mass.) and Roger Williams junior pitcher George Lund (West Hartford, Conn.) were named Honorable Mention.
