Gulls End 2014 Campaign Ranked #23 Nationally

BEVERLY, Mass.- D3Baseball.com released their final 2014 national rankings over the weekend and Endicott finished ranked #23, marking their second consecutive season finishing ranked in the top 25.  The Gulls also finished ranked #2 in New England according to the NEIBA DIII Coaches Poll.

The Gulls received 105 points towards the poll following a 34-16 season that ended in the NCAA Regional championship game.  Joining Endicott from New England in the national rankings were Southern Maine, who finished the season ranked #4 in the nation and #1 in New England, and Eastern Connecticut State, who finished ranked #18 nationally and #5 regionally.

Endicott claimed their second consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title in 2014 and also received numerous individual national accolades, such as D3Baseball.com National Player of the Year (Gold), D3Baseball.com All-America (Gold and Oringer), Rawlings/ABCA Division III All-America (Gold) and ABCA Gold Glove (Holmgren).

The D3baseball.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, sports information directors, and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
