BEVERLY, Mass. – After going 5-3 last week including a pair of losses to regionally-ranked Amherst, the Endicott baseball remained on the NEIBA New England poll but dropped from fourth down to sixth place this week. The Gulls are the only institution from the CCC that remains regionally-ranked with an overall record of 18-7 with a 9-1 standing in league action.

The Blue and Green started off the week scoring key conference victories over Roger Williams 4-0 and 11-0, who were unbeaten in CCC play to that point. Three straight losses via Salem State, now ranked #7 in New England, and the Amherst doubleheader ensued before Endicott was able to delivering convincing 9-2 and 15-0 wins over conference foe Curry.

On this week's schedule, Endicott anticipates the second game of a home and away doubleheader with the nation's #6/#7 and region's top team Southern Maine up in Gorham, Maine. Endicott defeated Southern Maine 16-7 back on March 28th when the Huskies were ranked #5 in the country. The Gulls will close out the week with Friday and Saturday doubleheaders against CCC opponent Wentworth and non-conference rival Husson. Both the Friday and Saturday contests will be play at Endicott's North Field.
