CENTERVILLE, Mass. – One week after their teammates were named ECAC Athletes of the Week, baseball's EJ Martinez (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and men's volleyball's Travis Netherton (Waukegan, Ill.) were given the same honors for their outstanding performances for Endicott Athletics.

Martinez posted back-to-back three-hit, five-RBI games in victories over 2013 NCAA Division III runner-up University of Southern Maine, the nation's fifth-ranked team, and CCC rival Eastern Nazarene. In the Gulls' 4-0 week, Martinez batted .500 (6-for-12) with one double, one home run, 11 RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base. The five-RBI performances matched his career high and lifted the Gulls to a 16-7 win over the Huskies and a 16-3 triumph over ENC.
