BEVERLY, MA - The Gulls took on the Huskies of the University of Southern Maine this afternoon in non-conference action. The Huskies (9-7) offense was too much for the Gulls today as they defeated Endicott 15-5. This loss drops the Gulls to 11-12 (9-1 CCC) on the season.

The Huskies were lead on the afternoon by the heart of their order junior Ryan Bourque (Sanford, ME/Sanford), sophomore Eddie Skeffington (Everett, MA/Everett) and junior Max Aresenault (Boothbay, ME/Boothbay Region). Bourque scored five runs with three hits, two walks and two RBI's. Skeffington had three hits with three RBI's and two runs scored. Aresenault finished with four hits, two of which were doubles, four RBI's and a run scored. In all the heart of their order combined for nine of their 15 runs and 10 of their 14 hits.

Performing well for the Gulls on the afternoon was junior Joe Orlando (Gloucester, MA/Gloucester) who went 3-5 with three singles while sophomore Gavin Softic (Athol, MA/Cushing Academy) went 2-4 with two singles and an RBI.

The Gulls are back in conference action tomorrow when they travel to face the Fighting Scots of Gordon College. First pitch is at 2:00pm.
