LYNCHBURG, VA - Lynchburg College capitalized on a two-out error in the seventh inning to plate a pair of runs and go on to a 5-4 victory over Endicott College Wednesday afternoon.

The Gulls (0-4) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second on a two-run RBI single through the left side of the infield by freshman Joe Paciello (Worcester, MA/St. Peter Marian). The RBI were the first two of Paciello's collegiate career.

Lynchburg retaliated with three runs on three hits in the fourth frame before Endicott regained the lead in the sixth inning on a Mark Vaughn (Reading, MA/Reading) two-run single down the left field line.

John Bedard (East Longmeadow, MA/East Longmeadow) worked Endicott out of a fourth inning jam with an inning-ending 6-4-3 double play and Vaughn initiated a 5-2-3 twin killing in the fifth after Lynchburg loaded the bases.

The Gulls first four hitters in the lineup - Kevin Donahue (Reading, MA/Reading), Steve Vidmosko (Shelton, CT/Fairfield Prep), Matt Bishop (Woburn, MA/Woburn) and Dan Gomez (East Longmeadow, MA/East Longmeadow) - all hit safely, while Abe Bellini () also collected a hit.
