Sunday Rain Pushes Endicott To Tuesday; Forces Postponing Bowdoin

May. 1, 2005

More rain throughout New England forced another day of postponements in the CCC Baseball Tournament. \#3 Salve Regina and \#6 Colby Sawyer could not get their game in, nor could \#1 Curry and \#4 Nichols complete their game which was suspended in the 13th inning on Saturday.

\#2 Endicott will host the Salve Regina/Colby Sawyer winner on Tuesday at 2:00pm. If another game is needed it will be played immediately following the 2:00pm game. Bowdoin College was originally scheduled to come to Endicott on May 3. However, it will now have to be rescheduled or cancelled. In the other CCC bracket, \#5 Eastern Nazarene will travel to the winner of the Curry/Nichols suspended game on Tuesday for a 1:00pm start. If a second game is needed, it will start immediately after the 1:00pm game.

The CCC championship game will be played at the highest remaining seed on Wednesday at 3:00.

Congratulations to men's lacrosse and softball, each of whom won CCC titles this weekend and will play in NCAA Regional Tournaments. Congratulations also go out to women's lacrosse who finished second in the CCC after a heart-breaking over-time loss to Gordon. They are strong candidates for an ECAC tourney berth.
