Easily Endicott’s all-time best tennis player, Yuko Matsumoto was named CCC Player of the Year in 2000 and earned a spot on the 2001 All-Endicott Team.  Matsumoto also garnered All-Conference honors in both singles and doubles in 2000.  Matsumoto was awarded CCC Player of the Week five times in her career and was the top seed and conference champion at # 1 singles for three consecutive seasons.

Overall Matsumoto was able to compile a 100-5 record during her impressive career at Endicott. She never lost a singles match, going an astonishing 57-0. Almost equally impressive, Matsumoto compiled a 43-5 record in doubles competition and was the conference singles champion in 1997 with an unblemished 29-0 record.  The following season, she continued her perfection on the court with an unbeaten GNAC record.  For her efforts, Matsumoto was named to the GNAC All-Conference team in both 1997 and 1998.
