A standout two sport athlete in basketball and softball, Tara Mansour was a captain and leader of both sports.  She was an unselfish and tough basketball point guard who even played forward when needed.  She often guarded the opponent’s best player regardless of the position.  Mansour had a career batting average of .423 primarily as a catcher and helped the softball team win their first Division III league championship in 1995.  She tagged up from third base to score the game’s only run, a 1-0 thriller over Nichols in the NEWAC Championship.
