Annie Jenkins is in her second year as the Sports Information Graduate Assistant at Endicott in 2016-17 and serves as the primary sports information contact for field hockey, men's and women's basketball, men's soccer, softball, and women's lacrosse.

Jenkins was recently awarded the 2015-16 Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest District 1 "Story With Video" of the Year Award for her work entitled Men's Soccer Welcomes Jack Garis To Program Through Team IMPACT.

Jenkins is a 2015 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Mass. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and minor in Political Science. She is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Athletic Administration degree from Endicott’s Van Loan Graduate School of Professional Studies.

During her time at Emerson, Jenkins was a four-year outfielder on the softball team, competing in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference and New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference and served two years as Emerson's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) President in the NEWMAC.

Jenkins was team captain of the Lions in her senior season and was named to the Academic All-Conference Team three times, in addition to being a two-time NFCA Division III All-America Scholar-Athlete. In her time at Emerson, the softball team earned the NFCA Team Academic Award for having the highest team GPA in all of Division III softball all four years.

Jenkins also worked in the Emerson Athletics Department for four years. Her responsibilities included taking care of game day operations, writing game recaps and managing scorekeeping and statistics responsibilities as a contest management worker and Stat Crew operator. Jenkins was part of a special council committed to adopting Emerson’s first ever athletics logo design in 2014.

In addition to her college athletic communications experience, Jenkins served as a Studio Production Intern with New England Sports Network (NESN) in Fall 2014 and provided Media Relations support for the Golden State Collegiate Baseball League (GSCBL) out of Northern California in Summer 2014.  She has also worked in print media as a sports correspondent  for The Boston Globe from Fall 2012 to Spring 2013. In high school, Jenkins volunteered as a statistician for Pioneer High School (Woodland, Calif.) varsity football for three years and was a beat writer for MaxPreps, Inc.

Jenkins, 24, is a native of Woodland, Calif., and is the proud first-born of a triplet trio with her siblings, Will (24) and Emily (24).
