BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott College Assistant Vice President, Director of Athletics Brian Wylie, Ph.D. has announced the promotion of Jack Dustin to full-time strength and conditioning coach, effective immediately.

A certified strength and conditioning specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Dustin will serve as the head strength and conditioning coach, where he will be responsible for collaborating with James Daley, Endicott's Assistant Director of Athletics for Athletic Performance, and the strength and conditioning staff.

"The Endicott administration has recognized the value of a full-time staff member within strength & conditioning," said James Daley. "This new position will further elevate our department, our student-athlete experience, and will create potential opportunities for our Exercise Science students. Jack has done a great job of establishing himself in the area of strength & conditioning at Endicott. Given his field knowledge and his passion for coaching, he has demonstrated that he will be a strong leader for our strength & conditioning staff going forward. I am excited to continue to work with Jack in his new role as we further develop student-athlete performance."

Dustin had previously served in the role of strength and conditioning coach while also working as an assistant coach with the football team. The 2014 graduate of Assumption College joined the Endicott staff after a two-year stint at his alma mater. During his time at Assumption, Dustin assisted with nutrition and strength and conditioning while coaching both offensive and defensive line groups. Prior to his time coaching at Assumption, Dustin served as a senior intern and strength & conditioning intern at Coastal Carolina University

"I could not be more excited to be able to work with all the teams at Endicott," stated Dustin. "I want to thank Dr. Brian Wylie and all of our administrators, coaches, and student-athletes for giving me a chance to work with their teams. This new position helps me to give back to others in an area I am deeply passionate for. I also want to extend a special thank you to Coach McGonagle as he has been a huge supporter in my coaching career and brought me into this amazing community.  I'm thrilled to get to work with the best sports performance staff around in James Daley, Joe Calabrese, Jon Williams, and Colin Mason."

Dustin continued.

"The impact I want to make is the same goal that everyone has here at Endicott. I want to be able to help the athletic department to be able to field teams that will make the Endicott Community proud. That is what makes Endicott different. It truly is a community and we all take great pride in the successes of our students, whether it's on the field or in the classroom."
