BEVERLY, Mass. – On Tuesday, April 30 from 6-8 PM inside MacDonald Gymnasium, the Endicott College School of Sport Science and Fitness Studies will host the seventh annual Will Archibald '04 Wheelchair Game.
Members of Endicott's athletic teams and students in the College's sport management, physical education, exercise science, and athletic training programs will be spread out across eight teams and will compete against the New England Blazers – a top-level wheelchair basketball squad – in 15-minute challenge games to honor Will.
Along with paying homage to Will, Tuesday's event will aim to raise awareness that sport is for everyone, not just able-bodied athletes. All proceeds raised prior to and from the event will benefit the Endicott Sport Management Scholarship Fund.
Sport Management students have been fundraising for the event all year long. Each attendee receives a free raffle ticket for the chance to win a Bose Speaker, gift cards to various Beverly establishments, and t-shirts.

WILL ARCHIBALD '04
A 2004 graduate of Endicott, Will inspired many on campus by his "will" to face adversity after being involved in a motorcycle accident that left him wheelchair-bound. After the accident, Will never gave up his drive to participate in all types of sport, but sadly, Will eventually passed away from complications five years ago.
The Will Archibald '04 Wheelchair Game event will always honor his spirit and his "Will Power".
NEW ENGLAND BLAZERS
The New England Blazers wheelchair basketball team, which began play during the 1992-93 season, is an affiliate member of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA). The NWBA provides qualified individuals with physical disabilities the opportunity to play, learn, and compete in the sport of wheelchair basketball.
The New England Blazers consists of players of all types of abilities, from veterans to young players alike, they all shine in their own way. Their team motto is "just wanna play ball".
