Community Service Report: August Through October

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott Department of Athletics and Recreation and its student-athletes have participated in several community service projects since the start of the 2018-19 academic year. Here's a look at how the Gulls have volunteered their time from August up until October.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS COMPLETED

  • Top Notch Field Hockey Clinic
  • Fresh Check Day (mental health promotion/suicide prevention)
  • Flag Planting (in memory of 9/11)
  • Fire Truck Wash
  • Flag Pick Up (in memory of 9/11)
  • You're With Us Bowling Fundraiser
  • Women's Lacrosse Youth Clinic
  • Tennis Clinic with Tenacity
  • Northeast ARC Fall Fest
  • Lone Gull 10k
  • ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (in support of Pete Frates), which includes $1,600.00 raised all by student-athletes
  • Flight4CF fundraiser
  • Team IMPACT
  • Operation Troop Support (125 care packages assembled and delivered)
  • ALS Walk

Teams Involved (so far): Field Hockey, Women's Ice Hockey, Men's Tennis, Men's Basketball, Dance, Baseball, Men's Ice Hockey, Women's Soccer, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Basketball, Men's Volleyball, Women's Tennis

Estimated Hours Volunteered: 500-plus hours
