BY THE NUMBERS: What To Watch For Down The Stretch

BEVERLY, Mass. – Records are meant to be broken, so they say. So, with that being said (or written), here are some things to know about as the Gulls head into postseason play.

SOFTBALL

15 - The number of doubles Jamie Hopgood (Warwick, R.I.) has going into the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament. Hopgood is currently tied for second in most doubles in a single-season. The record is 16.

3 - Gina DeMilt (Princeton, N.J.) has three triples, which is tied for seventh-most in a single-season. 

2 - Maggie Oram (Lexington, Mass.) and Michaela Hamill (Lynn, Mass.) are tied for the second-most saves in a single-season with two. First place is six.

12 - The amount of home runs Hayley Arduini (Southington, Conn.) has parked over the fence in her career. Arduini's totally currently ranks ninth all-time (6th is 15).

32 - Danielle Stratton (Agawam, Mass.) has swiped 32 stolen bases in her career, which ranks tied for seventh (6th is 36 SBs).

21 - Wins that Laura Somerville (Suffield, Conn.) has amassed in her career (tied 10th all-time).

164 - Total number of strikeouts Somerville has recorded in her career (8th all-time).

14 - Runners Emily Sharpe (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) has thrown out in her career (7th all-time).


WOMEN'S LACROSSE

74 - The total number of points Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.) has compiled in 2018. Lacroix needs 11 points to put her name on the top-10 single-season list.

59 - Goals Lacroix has netted in 2018. That figure currently ranks seventh all-time in a single-season.

72 - Draw controls that Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.) has registered this year (tied 6th in a single-season).

12 - Number of wins Bella Rino (Northborough, Mass.) has in 2018 (tied 7th in a single-season).

235 - Goals for the Gulls (tied 10th single-season).

106 - Assists for Endicott (tied 8th single-season).

332 - Ground balls as a team (tied 10th single-season).

224 - Total draw controls (tied 10th single-season).

51 - The amount of free position goals the Gulls have buried (7th all-time single-season).

7.07 - Goals against average, which currently ranks first all-time in a year.

12 - Wins, which currently ranks tied ninth all-time in a single campaign.

50 - Number of career assists Ali Campbell (Lakeville, Mass.). That total ranks eighth all-time in a career.

154 - Total number of career draw controls for Lacroix (third all-time).

137 - Olivia Larson's (Cheshire, Conn.) career draw control total, sixth all-time and one shy of tying for fifth all-time.

201 - Career saves for Rino (seventh all-time).

22 - Career wins for Rino (fifth all-time, one shy of tying for fifth all-time).


MEN'S LACROSSE

49 - Number of caused turnovers Grant Garrity (Duxbury, Mass.) has in his career. Fifth place on the all-time list is 55.

172 - Saves Patrick Dean (Westhampton, N.Y.) has accumulated, which ranks 10th all-time in a career. Ninth place is 184.


BASEBALL

16 - Career saves Will Bryant (Cumberland, Maine) has atop the all-time list. 

9 - Saves in a single-season, also held by Bryant in 2018.

25 - Stolen bases Michael DeDonato (Chelmsford, Mass.) has recorded this season (tied fourth in a single-season).

X92B87X?! - The rest is just a lot to put on a list but here's where DeDonato ranks historically in the program. 10th games played (157), 7th most at-bats (550), 5th most runs scored (134), 8th most hits (181), 9th most total bases (241), 2nd most stolen bases (82), and 6th most assists (305).


MEN'S TENNIS

12 - Consecutive playoff appearances for the Gulls.

32 - Career singles wins for Endicott's lone senior Christopher Kirkpatrick (Newburyport, Mass.).


MEN'S GOLF

6 - Number of CCC Championships the Gulls have won since 2006-07.

3 - Total of Golfer of the Year award winners for Endicott.


WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD

1 - This weekend's CCC Championship will the first-ever in conference history.
