BEVERLY, Mass. – Four hundred and forty-three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) student-athletes were honored on Wednesday morning as the league announced its Fall Academic All-Conference Team. Endicott led the way among its nine other CCC full-member institutions with a school record 70 student-athletes recognized for their work in the classroom. Endicott's total also ties the University of New England's mark set in 2014 for the most student-athletes named to the CCC Fall Academic All-Conference list.

The fall list of teams includes men's and women's cross country, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.

All seven of Endicott's fall athletic programs produced a GPA of 3.18 or higher, which also included five teams with at least a 3.45 GPA or greater. Women's volleyball paced Endicott's seven fall programs with a 3.55 GPA.

Of the 70 honorees, Jamie Zompa (Marlborough, Mass.) of the women's tennis team and Nick Weinstein (Trumbull, Conn.) of the men's soccer program represented Endicott as the Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year in their respective sports.

In order to be recognized as a member of the Academic All-Conference Team an athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore status.
