BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott Athletics strength and conditioning staff will host sports nutrition guest speaker Julie Nicoletti on Monday, February 29 in the Wax Auditorium. Nicoletti, who is the team nutritionist for the Boston Bruins and Boston Cannons, will speak to all Endicott female student-athletes at 6:30 p.m. and all male student-athletes at 7:30 p.m.
Nicoletti’s talks will be based around the concepts of proper nutrition for elite athletes, the benefits of "fueling" practices, dining hall options and timing, and effects of alcohol on the body, as well as other important topics geared towards keeping student-athletes healthy.
Along with her duties with the Bruins and Cannons, Nicoletti consults to professional and elite travel sports teams, specialized camps, and works closely with several NCAA Collegiate athletic programs around the country.
Nicoletti’s winning formula has worked for the most elite athletes including the 2009 Heisman Trophy Award Winner Mark Ingram, Eric Fisher, who was the No. 1 NFL Draft Pick in 2013, and six-time MLL All-Pro first team selection and three-time MVP Paul Rabil.
Nicoletti’s, whose winning formula is equally as effective for athletes of all ages who aspire to excel, also writes about sports and nutrition for a number of publications, including the New York Hockey Journal, New England Hockey Journal, New England Soccer Journal, New England Lacrosse Journal and New England Baseball Journal. Nicoletti is also the author of several team-specific nutrition guides and works closely with strength and conditioning coaches to customize nutrition programs for athletes.
