2014 Fall CCC Academic All-Conference Honorees

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced their Fall 2014 Academic All-Conference Team and Endicott was the leader of the pack with 47 honorees across seven first semester sports that included men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball.

Endicott’s women’s tennis program, a team that won the CCC Championship for the fourth consecutive season, placed six women on the Academic All-Confernece team and posted the highest fall semester GPA of any Endicott team with a 3.78.  Women's soccer had the most Academic All-Conference honorees out of any Endicott fall sport with 13 student-athletes on the list. 

Of the 47 honorees, 10 were also recognized for their athletic ability with All-CCC awards including CCC Player of the Year in women’s tennis, four year starter and All-CCC member Amy Heacox (Marion, Mass.).  In addition to Heacox, five other members received Academic All-CCC distinction.

Leading all teams at Endicott in the fall that are CCC sports was women's soccer with 13, followed by field hockey and women's cross country with seven each.  Women's tennis and men's cross country had six and five respectively while men's soccer and women's volleyball closed with four and three.
