About

In September of 2015, Endicott College opened the doors to the Raymond J. Bourque Arena - a first-class ice arena named for National Hockey League and North Shore community activist Ray Bourque. This state-of-the-art facility provides both the Endicott and surrounding North Shore communities with a home for collegiate and high school competition and practice, intramurals, student activities, formal speaking events, and events that bring neighborhood people together.

The Raymond J. Bourque Arena is home to the Endicott men's and women's ice hockey programs that have risen to national prominence in only a few years of NCAA Division III eligibility. Beverly High School ice hockey, Beverly youth programs, and multiple other programs throughout the North Shore also utilize the Raymond J. Bourque Arena throughout the winter season.

The arena has six locker rooms including Endicott-team locker rooms for the varsity programs, a concession stand with an expansive menu, a hospitality suite, entertaining space, and team meeting room, and bathrooms available for the public.

Endicott Men's Ice Hockey Schedule
Endicott Women's Ice Hockey Schedule

In just four years of NCAA Division III eligibility - the first varsity season was 2015-16 - the Endicott men's and women's ice hockey teams have contended for conference championships and gained national prominence. Both programs attract high-level talent from across the country and the globe and have climbed both the USCHO and D3hockey.com Top-10 national polls.

The men's ice hockey team, in only their second season of existence, captured the 2017 Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship, won their First Round game in the NCAA Tournament, and qualified for the NCAA Quarterfinals. One year later, Endicott attained a No. 2 ranking in both national polls and was featured on a NESN/NESN National television show created by the New England Hockey Journal which highlighted the program's success. At the conclusion of the 2017-18 season, junior defenseman Logan Day signed an amateur tryout contract with the American Hockey League's Bakersfield Condors, the affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers.

Endicott's women's ice hockey program has experienced a similar amount of success in their four years of varsity status by reaching the Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Championship in all four seasons, which includes capturing the CHC title in 2018-19. During the 2017-18 campaign, the women climbed to as high as No. 7 on the D3hockey.com national poll and No. 10 on the USCHO rankings.
